Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Live Ride, you confirm that you can form a binding contract with FloHub and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you are using the App on behalf of a minor, you are responsible for their compliance with these Terms.

2. The App

Live Ride records rides using your device's location services, helps you plan routes, and displays a customisable dashboard of speed, distance, time, elevation and grade. The app supports iOS and Android; compatibility and availability are shown in the relevant store listing. Feature availability can vary by platform, device and operating-system version.

3. No account required

No rider login or account is required. Recorded ride history, dashboard presets and settings are stored locally. Purchase management uses a generated RevenueCat customer identifier, and online features use the services described in our Privacy Policy. Optional feature counts do not contain a persistent analytics identifier or your recorded ride content. FloHub cannot recover local ride history that you have lost; device backups and files you export are separate.

4. License to use the App

Subject to these Terms, FloHub grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Live Ride on compatible devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to applicable law and the usage rules of the store through which you obtained the app.

5. Purchases — no subscriptions

Live Ride is free to download with an allowance of the first 10 saved rides. Starting further rides may require Live Ride Pro, an optional, non-consumable, one-time purchase through Apple App Store or Google Play.

On iOS, the Apple Watch app is included during the free ride allowance. After that it requires a separate non-consumable, one-time purchase: the Apple Watch add-on, or Live Ride Pro + Watch, which includes both Live Ride Pro and the Apple Watch app. These terms apply to them in the same way as to Live Ride Pro.

• Live Ride Pro and the Apple Watch purchases are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically.
• Payment processing is handled by the relevant store. FloHub does not receive payment card details. RevenueCat supports validation, entitlement management and purchase support.
• The price shown by the relevant store at purchase applies and can vary by region and over time. A future price change does not create a recurring charge for an existing purchase.
• Purchase restoration is subject to the original store account and store rules. A purchase on one platform does not automatically establish an entitlement on the other platform.
• Your existing recorded ride history remains accessible without Pro. Pro unlocks additional ride recording beyond the free allowance and the features described at purchase.
• Refund requests can be made through the relevant store under its refund procedures. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights.

6. Location accuracy & riding safety

Live Ride uses your device's GPS and other location services to estimate speed, distance, elevation, grade and route. Like any GPS-based tool, this data is an estimate and may be affected by satellite coverage, weather, terrain, tunnels, urban canyons, and device hardware limitations. Live Ride is not a substitute for careful observation of your surroundings, traffic laws, road signage, or your own judgment.

7. Health & fitness disclaimer

Live Ride provides information for general cycling and fitness purposes and is not a medical device or medical advice. Calculated measurements can be estimates; imported health readings come from their original sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Apple Health and Android Health Connect integrations are optional and depend on your permissions. You can revoke those permissions through the relevant health application or device settings. Health readings and workout content are excluded from feature-count reports.

8. Your ride data and exports

You retain rights to the ride data you generate. Recorded ride history is stored locally and is not uploaded through feature analytics. Device backups and files you choose to export or share may contain ride information and are handled under the practices of the relevant operating-system, storage service or recipient. FloHub cannot recover an exported backup that you have lost.

Help improve Live Ride is on by default and can be switched off in Settings. An introductory notice appears before reports are uploaded. Limited feature counts help guide development; they do not include GPS coordinates, recorded routes, health readings, names you enter or a persistent analytics identifier. Turning sharing off clears unsent counts and stops further collection and upload attempts. Already merged aggregate totals cannot be attributed to an individual for deletion. Disabling sharing does not reduce your app features or Pro entitlement. Details of the reports, processors, retention and your choices are in our Privacy Policy. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate analytics consent required by applicable law or store policies.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by applicable law; (b) copy, resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the App; (c) use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the App; or (d) attempt to circumvent the purchase mechanism described in Section 5.

10. Third-party services

Online features depend on external services. iOS uses Apple map, address-search and routing services; Android uses map tiles, system geocoding and external routing services. Weather requests send coordinates to Open-Meteo. RevenueCat supports purchase management. Vercel processes feature-count reports and Upstash Redis stores aggregate totals. These services receive information necessary for their functions, including network connection metadata, as described in our Privacy Policy. Route naming assistance on supported Apple devices runs on-device, with an offline fallback.

Third-party service availability, conditions and practices can change. Online features may be unavailable when services or connectivity are unavailable. Maps and suggested routes are not a guarantee that a route is suitable or safe for cycling. Use your judgment, road signage and applicable traffic rules.

11. Intellectual property

Live Ride, including its name, logo, design, and underlying code, is the property of FloHub and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you beyond the limited license in Section 4.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of data. FloHub does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that location, speed, elevation or other measurements will be perfectly accurate.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FloHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including any injury, accident, or loss occurring during a ride. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including certain statutory consumer protections.

14. Termination

You may stop using the app by deleting it. This removes its local data subject to operating-system behaviour; exported files, device backups, purchase records and previously merged analytics totals are separate and may remain. You can disable feature sharing without deleting the app. FloHub may discontinue features, subject to applicable law, and will make reasonable efforts to preserve access to and export of existing ride data.

15. Changes to the App or these Terms

We may update Live Ride and these Terms from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or changes to our purchase model. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing law & your rights

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and do not limit any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country or state of residence. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
